In an attempt to help Jordanian startups share their ideas on global stage


Amman, Jordan – October 15th, 2017. Mind Rocket, Eila and Repzo were selected as finalists to compete in the 1776 Challenge Cup worldwide tournament 2017; a global competition where 75 cities are participating through hosting Challenge Cup locally in each of the cities.

Launched by the American Incubator 1776, Challenge Cup is set out to find the most promising, innovative startups around the globe while connecting and shining a light on startup ecosystems everywhere. Oasis500 and Zain Jordan collaborated to hosting this year’s Challenge Cup Jordan.  The competition attracted more than 60 startups across Jordan, where only 12 of them had the opportunity to pitch their ideas to the competition’s jury members whom are industry experts.

The jury members ultimately selected three startups that will get the chance to compete during the Challenge Cup global festival, which will take place on the 22nd of January until the 26th of the month in Washington DC, where all competing startups will have the chance to pitch their ideas on a global stage as well as having access to a network of fellow entrepreneurs and mentors whom are experts in their industries.


“Mind Rockets” (Assistive Technologies for the Deaf), develops avatars that translate text/speech to Sign Language. The avatars are currently being used (on a personal level) by more than 75,000 users. On the institutional level, “Mind Rockets” integrates the avatars into any organization to make its content accessible for Deaf people.

This works through customized solutions across industries (e.g. pharmacies, embassies, governments, ATMs, front desks). And a Web Interpreter (integrating avatars into ANY website to translate it to Sign Language).


“Eila”, is a chat bot that helps businesses automate their sales on Facebook Messenger. With people spending more than 2 hours every single day using Facebook & other social media/messaging apps, it is crucial for businesses to be available & serve their customers over these mediums or they risk losing business to other competitors who are. In no time, “Eila” can become their 24/7 sales person, that’s always available to serve and sell in a completely automatic nature, using artificial intelligence.


“Repzo”, is a mobile sales CRM (customer relationship management) app for the iPhone & Android devices. Simply put, this application turns the client’s smartphone or tablet into the ultimate standalone field force management tool. “Repzo” has rolled the advanced features and functionality of several business productivity utilities into a single management center.

Within minutes of downloading “Repzo”, the user’s reps can input their geo-tagged activities and he/she can monitor them live from your own mobile device

“Repzo” was designed with the traveling field rep in mind. “Repzo” user base consists of professionals in FMCG, healthcare, financial services, information technology, construction, housing, real estate, staffing, recruiting, higher education, insurance, and landscaping (to name but a handful of specializations).
