Job brief:

Oasis500 is looking for a Senior Venture Associate to participate in the management of the business acceleration of the startups, where he/she will be tasked with managing and reporting upon the startup account managers performance and their efforts, the coordination of all the startups’ cohort requirements in terms of coaching, mentorship, and progress, and to liaise with the portfolio managers for the compliance and status of the startups. Additionally, the holder of this role will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the mentors’ network, as well as the recommended coaches and consultants’ lists. This role additionally stipulates supporting the onboarding team with the screening and review of the investment applications.

Candidate must be passionate about fostering the entrepreneurial ecosystem and committed to supporting startups.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Account management of the startups under acceleration.
  2. Delivering the FastTrac Tech Ventures curriculum.
  3. Marketing coaching and digital campaigning.
  4. Holding training courses for the startups under acceleration.
  5. Connecting startups to suitable mentors.
  6. Coordinating the participation of startups in local and international events and competitions.
  7. Holding investor days for the startups under acceleration and the portfolio startups.
  8. Researching mentors and entities that provide startup mentorship programs.
  9. Maintaining a dashboard of the active mentors and entities’ information, activity with Oasis500, and status.
  10. Maintaining frequent communication and contact with the mentors and mentorship entities.

Auxiliary Responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting administrative screening of the applications.
  2. Fulfilling full investment application screening & due-diligence.
  3. Preparing the applicants and their pitch decks for the investment committee.
  4. Assisting in the design and planning of the outreach activities in relation to the pipeline.


  • Education: min. of a B.Sc./BA in Business Administration, MIS, BIS, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or any related fields of study.
  • Minimum experience: 3 – 5 years of working experience in financial institutions (e.g. banking, investment funds, etc.), and/or in any positions that included direct customer management and relations skills.
  • Proficient user of MS Office tools, with a high emphasis on MS Excel and MS Word or equivelant tools (e.g. OpenOffice, Google Sheets/Docs, etc.)
  • Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Experience in using CRM tools (e.g. Highrise, Pipedrive, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Strong financial analysis and financial management capabilities.
  • Experience in the technology sector, and in SME operations and operational management is a must.
  • Exposure to marketing tactics, strategies and campaigns is a must.

Optional Qualifications:

  • Background in financial institutions’ funnel management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of database management and data analysis is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience of the Jordanian and/or international entrepreneurial scene and sector is a plus, in addition to a basic working experience of the local regulatory and business environment.
  • Professional certificates (e.g. CSSGB, PMP, CMA, etc.) in relation to this role and/or to data analysis are a plus.
