Luma is one of the Middle East’s most influential leaders in early-stage business acceleration, investment, and fund management. She was named one of Forbes’ Top 100 Power Businesswomen in the region twice. Under her leadership, Oasis500 has been the most active investor and catalyst in building Jordan’s start-up ecosystem. With two decades of experience investing in and mentoring high-potential entrepreneurs, Luma has overseen over 150 early-stage deals and worked with more than 2,500 entrepreneurs. Luma is a staunch advocate of enabling women entrepreneurs to raise capital, develop relationships with investors and suppliers, and pursue the resources necessary to overcome systemic barriers to company building. She has also led outreach efforts in support of entrepreneurs in remote, underserved regions of Jordan.

تعد لُمى واحدة من أكثر قادة الشرق الأوسط تأثيرا فيما يتعلق بالتسريع المبكر للأعمال والاستثمار وإدارة الصناديق الاستثمارية، وقد صنفت مرتين من قبل مجلة فوربس كواحدة من أفضل ۱۰۰ سيدة أعمال في المنطقة. وأصبحت أويسس٥۰۰ تحت قيادتها المستثمر والمحفّز الأكثر فاعلية في بناء بيئة ريادة الأعمال في الأردن. وبعقدين من الخبرة في الاستثمار في رواد الأعمال ذوي الإمكانيات العالية ومراقبتهم، أشرفت لُمى على أكثر من ۱٥۰ صفقة في مراحل مبكرة وعملت مع أكثر من ۲٥۰۰ رائد أعمال. تعد لُمى من أشد المدافعين عن تمكين رائدات الأعمال في جمع التمويل وتطوير العلاقات مع المستثمرين والموردين والسعي للحصول على الموارد اللازمة للتغلب على العقبات العامة التي تواجه بناء الشركات، كما قادت جهودا للتوعية بهدف دعم رواد الأعمال في المناطق النائية والمحرومة من الخدمات في الأردن.

Luma Fawaz

Amineh joined the Investment and Acceleration Team at Oasis500 in December 2015. She manages the full cycle of investment and acceleration by working with the internal team to identify, negotiate, and appraise investment opportunities. She manages portfolio companies by actively supervising and assisting them in developing and validating effective business plans and capital-raise strategies. Amineh also offers mentorship and training in areas related to financial modeling, business development, and venture funding. Prior to joining Oasis500, Amineh worked with EY in consulting and auditing services.

انضمت أمينة إلى فريق الاستثمار وتسريع الأعمال في أويسس٥۰۰ في كانون الأول من عام ۲۰۱٥ تدير أمينة الدورة الكاملة للاستثمار وتسريع أعمال الشركات الناشئة من خلال العمل مع الفريق الداخلي لتحديد فرص الاستثمار والتفاوض بشأنها وتقييمها. كما تدير أمينة شركات محفظة أويسس٥۰۰ من خلال الإشراف الفعّال عليها ومساعدتها في تطوير خطط العمل الفعّالة واستراتيجياته المختلفة. كما تقدم أمينة الإرشاد والتدريب في المجالات المتعلقة بالأمور المالية وتطوير الأعمال وتمويل المشاريع. قبل انضمامها إلى أويسس٥۰۰، عملت أمينة مع شركة EY في خدمات الاستشارات والتدقيق.

Amineh Dabbas

Marwan is one of Jordan’s leading IT figures and the former Minister of Information and Communications Technology. He is the founder of Sama for Integrated Systems, better known as dot.jo, one of Jordan’s leading web development houses, and Kinz for Information Technology, the country’s leading corporate data provider. Marwan is also one of the founders and current chairman of Oasis 500. Marwan was one of the founders and two-time chairman of int@j, the country’s ICT industry association, and is one of the founders of the REACH Initiative, the national private sector-led five-year action plan that advanced Jordan’s nascent information technology sector and strengthened its ability to compete in local, regional, and global markets.

مروان هو أحد الشخصيات الرائدة في مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات في الأردن ووزير الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات السابق. أسس شركة سما للأنظمة المتكاملة، المعروفة باسم dot.jo، إحدى شركات تطوير شبكه الإنترنت الرائدة في الأردن. إضافة إلى ذلك فقد أسس شركة كنز لتكنولوجيا المعلومات التي هي المزود الرئيسي لبيانات الشركات في الأردن. كما أن مروان أحد مؤسسي ورئيس مجلس الإدارة الحالي أويسس٥۰۰ . كان مروان أحد مؤسسي إنتاج، وهي جمعية صناعة تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في البلاد، وشغل منصب رئيس مجلس إدارتها مرتين، كما أنه أحد مؤسسي مبادرة ريتش، وهي خطة عمل خمسية وطنية يقودها القطاع الخاص والتي طورت قطاع تكنولوجيا المعلومات الناشئ في الأردن وعززت قدرته على المنافسة في الأسواق المحلية والإقليمية والعالمية.

Marwan Juma

Ambassador Karim Kawar is the president of Kawar Group, a serial entrepreneur, a former diplomat, and an angel investor. Karim also serves as chairman of NatHealth, IrisGuard, and Kawar Energy and is a co-founder and board member of Oasis500. Karim co-founded the Jordan Strategy Forum and is a member of the board of Ahli Bank – Jordan. A founding chairman of EDAMA and int@j, Karim was appointed by HM King Abdullah II to the Economic Consultative Council. He is also a member of the 100 Best Arab Startups Selection Committee, Global Agenda Council, Young Global Leader, Global Leader for Tomorrow by World Economic Forum, Eisenhower Fellow, YPO Gold Member, cofounder, and president of Bridges of Understanding Foundation.

Karim Kawar

Zain is a passionate twenty-three-year-old who graduated from the University of Jordan with a bachelor's degree in finance and is currently working at Oasis500 as an accountant in the Accountant and Finance Department. Her main roles include conducting the daily cash transactions, reporting, and reconciliation, in addition to supporting other departments within Oasis500. During her journey in the friendly environment of the company, she has developed both her soft and technical skills, which has made her a better person. Zain is grateful to have had the opportunity to begin her career with a company as reputable as Oasis500 knowing that the knowledge and expertise she will gain are invaluable.

Walid, a Jordanian tech entrepreneur, founded Integrated Technology Group (ITG) in 1989, where he serves as president and CEO. He leads one of the most successful IT companies offering quality end-to-end products and services for the education and public sectors in more than 20 countries. Under his management, ITG has developed several innovative solutions, including the first Arab software specialized in AI (Artificial Intelligent Parser); the first e-Data exchange system deployed in various European institutions; and EduWave®, a comprehensive e-learning solution that is used by 25 million users. As a cofounder and an active board member of Oasis500, Walid strongly believes in the growth and innovative development of the startup ecosystem in the Middle East.

With over 6 years of diverse project management experience, Raya has come to appreciate the expansive nature of this field. As a marketing graduate, she finds joy in connecting with people and nurturing relationships, skills that have proven invaluable during a period of rapid and normalized change. This ability helped her transition after nearly 14 years in the same industry to join the Oasis500 family. Raya firmly believes that it’s never too late to follow her passion, pursue what she loves, and embrace new challenges as an Investor Relations and Communications Manager.
